Its been another busy and exciting year again at Tipperary Energy Agency. With new project working coming in all the time and the growth of SuperHomes Ireland we’re currently in the process of taking on 3 new engineers. This will bring our team to a record number of 17 staff members. Here are some of our 2016 highlights.

The inaugural Energy in Agriculture event which took place on August 22 was another highlight of 2016. 1200 attendees at Gurteen Agricultural College for 30 talks, 6 practical demos and 44 exhibitors. 2017 date has been announced. Visit www.energyinagriculture.ie
Our SuperHomes scheme has been hugely successful in 2016 retrofitting 22 houses. SuperHomes is a groundbreaking project designed to help homeowners upgrade their homes to an A3 BER. Apply for 2017 on www.superhomes.ie
Better Energy Communities Funding – Almost €2 million worth of energy upgrade work is coming to completion in Tipperary under the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland’s 2016 Better Energy Communities scheme. One such project was St Oliver Plunkett Primary school in Clonmel.
