The 2015 Tipperary Warmer Homes scheme is now closed. For information on our current grants funding schemes visit https://tippenergy.ie/funding/

Homeowners in Tipperary can now avail of a subsidised insulation scheme as part of the 2015 Tipperary Warmer Homes Scheme. This will make homes warmer and more comfortable to live in, plus cheaper to run.  The following is included in this scheme: attic insulation, cavity wall insulation or external wall insulation, ventilation, draft proofing, energy efficient bulbs and an energy monitor.

Homeowners in receipt of the following – Fuel Allowance, Job Seekers Allowance for over six months and has children under 7 years of age or the Family Income Supplement (FIS) can avail of the scheme for a participation fee of €79 if they live in a home with a cavity wall construction or €1500 if they live in a home with a solid wall construction. Your local social welfare office will have to stamp your application as proof you are in receipt of one of the mentioned supplements. If you do not receive any of the above supplements you can still avail of the insulation upgrades through the receipt of a grant. The grant available is to the value of €1350 for cavity wall homes and €5250 for external wall homes.

There are a limited number of places available so those who are interested in taking part are urged to do so promptly as places for last year’s scheme filled very quickly. For more information on this scheme please click here
