Community Consultation Workshops for the Renewable Electricity Support Scheme

Tipperary Energy Agency and the Western Development Commission in association with the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment would like to invite you to a consultation workshop for communities that are interested in the upcoming RESS auctions and the associated community proposals. The Government is committed to the first RESS auction happening in June

€2.7 million worth of energy upgrades for Tipperary communities in 2019

In 2019, the Tipperary Energy Agency delivered €2.7 million worth of projects through SEAI’s Better Energy Community  grant scheme. There were 13 beneficiaries in total including local authorities, public sector organisations, private sector, i.e. a hotel, small-medium sized enterprises, bar/restaurant, gaa clubs, community centres, scouts hall and a section 38/39 organisation. Grants of between 30-50%

Green Tech Skillnet and Community Energy Survey
