Almost €2 million worth of energy upgrade work is coming to completion in Tipperary under the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland’s 2016 Better Energy Communities scheme. Tipperary Energy Agency is now calling on local community groups, sports facilities, private businesses and public sector organisations with potential energy efficiency upgrade projects for 2017 to get in touch, with a view to applying for funding for 2017 scheme. Some €20million of funding was available under the SEAI’s 2016 Better Energy Communities scheme.
We are running two Better Energy Communities Information events this October. The first will take place in Cahir on October 24th at 7pm and there will also be a Nenagh event on October 25th at 7pm at the Abbey Court Hotel.
Better Energy Communities Scheme provides 50% funding to community facilities and up to 25% funding for the private sector. Better Energy Communities is an Energy Efficiency Grant Scheme available through the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and administered by Tipperary Energy Agency in partnership with NTLP (North Tipperary Leader Partnership). If you have an interesting community energy project that might be eligible for 2017 funding, please get in touch.
We have vast experience of these projects and have worked with several schools, businesses, leisure centres and sports clubs in recent years.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to attend the above events.
