About Power-Ecom Project

POWER-E-COM is a EU-LIFE funded project that supports action that helps Sustainable Energy Communities and community groups in Ireland move from concept to energisation by turning practical clean-energy plans into operating projects.

The project focuses on real-world delivery with pilot roadmaps in Ireland, standardised business-model templates, “grid and planning” checklists, financing pathways, and engagement playbooks that reduce risk and shorten time to energisation.

Working alongside SECs and local partners, POWER-E-COM supports SECs  to (1) structure viable generation and demand-reduction projects, (2) navigate consents and network-connection sequencing, (3) select a route to market, such as the Small-Scale Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (SRESS), and (4) build capability through training and shared toolkits. In Ireland, the delivery on the ground is supported by Tipperary Energy Agency, Community Power, and Technological University of the Shannon.
